We’re getting married on Sunday, October 17, 2027, at Villa Controni in Vorno, just outside Lucca.
We’re keeping things relatively small and spending a few days in Tuscany with our favorite people.
We know traveling to Italy is a much bigger commitment than a typical wedding weekend, so right now we’re simply trying to get a good idea of who thinks they’ll be able to join us.

LOCATION
Villa Controni
Vorno, Tuscany, Italy
The wedding will take place at Villa Controni, a historic villa in the Tuscan countryside just outside Lucca.
Lucca is a beautiful walled city with restaurants, bars, cafés, shops, and plenty to explore, and it’s a great jumping-off point for the rest of Tuscany.
We’ll share more recommendations for the area as we get closer.
TRAVEL
Getting to Tuscany
We recommend flying into Florence Airport (FLR), as it has the most direct options.
Florence is a great place to start or end your trip, and from there it’s roughly an hour to the Lucca area.
Pisa International Airport (PSA) is even closer to Lucca, but may require a connecting flight.
If you’re only coming for the wedding weekend, we recommend arriving in Tuscany no later than Saturday, October 16.

Villa Mateucci - On the Property
LIMITED AVAILABILITY - FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED
We have reserved Villa Matteucci for wedding guests on a first-come, first-served basis. Seven rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The rooms are for October 15- 19,
€1345 total per room for the four-night stay
